The Booster, or first stage is a critical component of our new Eagle 5 rocket, engineered to provide the immense thrust required for space launches, and then return reliably for reuse. Standing at 155 feet tall with a 14-foot diameter, the booster is designed for high performance, reusability, and operational efficiency. Equipped with 7, cutting-edge Talon TR-8.3 engines and utilizing a fully carbon fiber structure, the booster is capable of landing and being reused up to 50 times, making it a key part of the Eagle 5's cost-effective launch system. Reuse can be achieved is a landing pad or an autonomous droneship.

This booster, specifically B305, has completed its 130m hop test at our landing and testing facility. It will support the first Eagle 5 mission, CFT-1, along with the second stage, S713. CFT-1 is expected to occur NET March 1.

The Activation Groups are pretty self-explanatory. Other than RCS, any AG after AG5 doesn’t do anything. The last image is a sneak peek at the entire Eagle 5 launch vehicle!

@AstrumY, are you following the instructions? Also, I’ve found that if you have the quality set to 400, the picture won’t fully be there.

@QuantumSpaceJNO, many, many iterations and frustrations led to the final design of the legs. In the end, I ended up having to edit the hinges so that they would rotate the correct distance. The system is based off of Relativity Space’s Terran R landing legs.
