The Cassiopeia-1 is capable of re-entry, just make sure to go slower than 3km/s. Sure, you can go faster, but the success isn't guaranteed by me.

The Shuttle has a small-sized cargo bay, you can fit something like small module or a rover inside. It also has 2 docking ports on the bottom, which you can reveal by activating the docking mode, and on the top, which is located inside the cargo bay.
