The Austaschbar Series is a series of interchangeable, modular rocket stages that can be used for a variety of missions. The different components are identified by the following alphanumeric system:
AUB - [LTR][NUM][LTR]
AUB = Shorthand for Austauschbar, German for "interchangeable"
1st LTR = Which stage the component is. U for upper, B for booster.
NUM = The number of engines on the component.
2nd LTR = The size of the fuel tank. S for standard, E for extended, C for compact.
