Designed as an exploritory science vessel The Wilbur is built like a tank. Using Bio Computers the advanced replicators can instantaniously replace damaged parts making The Wilbur INDESTRUCTABLE! Fully Autonomous as little a 1 man crew can be assigned. Auto launch, enter orbit and ON COMMAND Auto Landing are available.
To Fly:
1. Simply Launch from anywhere (Land or Water)
The Wilbur will enter a 60m Hover and wait
2. Open the Activation Groups
3. On screen instructions will prompt you to select a heading, no need to touch pitch
4. Turn on Activation Group 10 "ENGAGE!"
Sit back and watch, The Wilbur will fly itself into orbit.
5. A message will appear letting you know that Orbit is Achieved and at that point you can play with the Activation Groups, throttle and just tinker.
6. When ready to return simply turn OFF activation group 10 "ENGAGE!"
7. Bio Computer will reset all activtion groups and being you home safely.
8. If a water landing is encountered it will be detected and The Wilbur will automatically Clear the Nacelles from the water, hover and begin to scitch along the water.
9. You can then fiddle with activation groupd and go where ever you like.

when you have the ship in the editor, look to the left side dropdown. then choose edit program. the program ia huge so you may need to zoom out a bit to see it . But at the very top, the first 2 paragraphs just remove the 2 command blocks that say "ON START" Then again from the left menu pick "WRITE PROGRAM TO CRAFT" Once you do that then when you launch the ship will just sit and wait for you to play with it manually. You can always go back into the program and put the ON START commands back.

I actually don’t know how to take it of autopilot, but that’s ok. What I did and I will post it, is sort of a Ptolemy-ish secondary hull.

Great! Im glad you like it. I always try and build stuff that actually flys well enough to actually play with. Ignoring Stages and just using Activation Groups. Do a search under my profile name, im sure youll like my USS Enterprise. I built the Wilbur basicall using parts from the Enterprise but they both Fly the same and use the same or nearly the same Activation groups. I usually upload crafts with some type of autopilot loaded but obviously you know how to disable that and just explore on your own. I too love to look for other peoples contributions and then tinker with them, usually make them fly better then get cretive with addons. Sounds like your into the same. Ive already added a bunch of lighting and other cosmetic changes to the Wilbur since uploading. Deff fell free to post what ever you do to it and if you think about it give me a heads up so I can see what you did. HAve fun fellow Trekkie. As a side note, Just saw a car about an hour ago, personized plate "SEVNOF9" :) GOTTA LOVE IT!

Ah, ok, I thought thats what you meant. I was trying to make it look as true to trek as possible. Setting it to Plain is probably more accurate but it just looked BLAH, so i went with SIMPLE because its a clean look. Good thing is you easily modify it and do what ever you like.

I am loving this. I’m an old Trekker, so this sings to me. Works well and is fun. I have been playing with add on’s such as a secondary hull and weapons pack. Thanks for a great ship to play Trek dreams. Bahahaha!

@Arstotzka LOL, thank you. Ive been working on the craft for weeks and took days to get the autopilot to work reliably but it was done a few days ago. It took me a few days to come up wit the name or Id have posted it sooner. Glad you like it.
