The Skylancer's wings look cool & it looks like an
f-106 quite a bit, but one of many differences would be that it was 1. cancelled for military use, it was only used by NASA, & 2 it can barely make it to mach 1.

I didn’t even know that this plan existed until I watched the dark docs video on the f-8 crusader in a short bit of b-roll. btw, that’s a teaser on what I’m making next. @Flamoringo
