The V-1 flying bomb was an early cruise missile. Its official Reich Aviation Ministry (RLM) designation was Fieseler Fi 103. The V-1 was the first of the Vergeltungswaffen (V-weapons) deployed for the terror bombing of London. It was developed at Peenemünde Army Research Center in 1939 by the Luftwaffe at the beginning of the Second World War.
FEATURES
- Powered takeoff assisted by steam catapult
- Cruise altitude selector
- Primitive guidance System (Useful against static, big targets, ideally buildings)
- 850 Kg Warhead
OPERATION
- Choose a target within ~250 Km and 30° of the platform
- Press AG 2
- Select a cruise altitude (ASL) I recommend 600-900 m to remain as historically accurate as possible
- Let the program guide you towards the enemy!*
*Player intervention may be required since the guidance system is quite rudimentary
NOTE
If you liked the craft, please consider leaving an upvote, I put a lot of effort and time to make sure that everything works as intended, thanks c:

@000Maverik000 wdym? is the catapult not working? I've tested many times and didn't found problems, maybe it's because of your slow-mo setting, it is programmed like that so the whole thing doesn't explode so I guess it could fail when using other slow-mo setting, I use 20x, please tell me if it works like that

Hi there did you tried to reduce the detachment force of catapult maybe this will work

@000Maverik000 Thanks! I've searched around different sources and many of them said that the rail is approximately 49 m which is the length of the ramp in game, however the angle might not be exactly as IRL, also, I've tried implementing the gyroscope, but it makes a lot harder to controll roll inputs so I discarded realism in favor of functionality

@Brunatzo I need to say that what you bild is amazing maybe you can try to make the ramp longer and higher (like in rl) and put a gyroscope inside of the v1

@000Maverik000 yeah sorry, the code is pretty wonky and not very tested, maybe I'll work on improving it but I'm not very experienced in guidance systems, thanks for your comments, I appreciate them!

PLEASE READ
I messed up a part of the code which makes not possible for the aircraft to take off, in the 59th line of code the pitch setting was supposed to be 25, not 15, at some point I must have accidentally changed it, so the AoA of the craft will not be enough for it to take off, by changing it should be able to take off (it will scrape it's belly a little but it'll take off, also, this is a temporary solution, I'll upload a fixed version soon)
@000Maverik000 hope this helps!
