The Eagle is Solara's first production airplane. Designed as a long range cruiser, it flies at an altitude of 32,000 feet (9.3km) at a speed of Mach .80, and has a range of 3,400 miles (5.9km). The Eagle features a single in-fuselage turbojet engine producing 133kN at sea level. It is a very slippery airplane; it slides through the air very well and as such, it features functioning speed brakes operated with Slider 1 (down). Takeoff speed 70m/s, landing speed 85m/s.
