Warfare is changing;
Reliability and versatility is above all, and the most important aspect of any vehicle or equipment designed for warfare.

Thus, our new VTOL craft is based upon the principles of operating in any enviroment, diving straight into the hell of war and coming out no matter what. Its versatility allows it to carry cargo, conduct reconnaissance missions, strike stragic targets with surgical accuracy, and provide close air support for troops on the ground, all without changing a single bolt on the craft.

Possessing 4 independently controlled wings that can change angle of attack, sweep and dihedral at a moments notice, capable of withstanding the immense stresses generated by 30 hertz beating to provide thrust in 4 directions, with an advanced fly-by-wire system to keep the aircraft both stable and more maneuverable than any conventional helicopter or airplane in current usage.

It is armed with a single turreted GAU-8 Avenger Rotary Cannon, capable of dishing out 4200 rounds per minute, a weapon so powerful, ceramic composite armor and wet cardboard has about the same effectiveness in resisting it, alongside 6 hardpoints for attachment of missiles, rocket pods, or even laser guided bombs.

To guide such weapons of destruction to their targets, it possesses a top mounted radar that automatically searches the sky and the ground for any threats, with look-down/shoot-down capability for engaging virtually any target, nothing is safe from the watchful eyes provided by the Balisong, and with real time data link capability, a single Balisong can provide targeting information for an entire squadron of attack craft, wheter they be CAS planes, gunships, or attack helicopters.

Alongside its radar, its powerful optical tracking systems, capable of functioning both at night and day, provides superb situational awareness to the gunner, and allows visual confirmation of the elimination of targets, with an integrated laser designator, capable of guiding both its own weapons, or those of its allies.

Although capable of operating only for a few hours, this can be stretched up to 12 hours utilizing its gliding capability, covering large distances in no time, with a maximum speed of 200 m/s at its service ceiling of 12.000 meters, and 80 m/s at sea level.

With its integrated cargo latch and robust landing gear, it is capable of carrying 15 tonnes, roughly 6 times its own weight, such reduction of structural mass thanks to its advanced carbon composite structure, with titanium alloy mechanical components for added support and robustness.
