Welcome to the Universal Muzak Composer
The Universal Muzak Composer is a ready-made Vizzy program where you can simply and easily compose your own musical scores for direct playback in-game.
Note: this requires the beta version of the game, which is now available for download on all platforms.
Instructions:
In order to access the script, open the craft then select ‘EDIT PROGRAM’ from the Menu. You will see a commented script with instructions for how to write your own music. Post a comment or direct message me in Discord if you have issues. The script comes pre-loaded with a simplified version of Beethoven’s Ode to Joy so you can see how it works.
If you just want to play the pre-loaded music, load the craft into your game and press AG1.

@Gozinya nice to hear about all that. I also looked into thrash metal guitarists, because heavy chugging would make an effective basso continuo for some applications ;). Also in notoriety, Devin Townsend, and someone I actually found who covered a song of his on Cello.

Excellent. I think we can make some pretty sick counterpoint compositions with Vizzy now :D. Maybe you will be the next Rasputina (haha, the only Rock Cello artist I know). It sounds like as you’ve matured you began to see more value in the Cello as a supporting/harmonizing voice. I think that’s interesting, because some of the most objectively beautiful pieces of music have little in the way of memorable melodies. I guess I’m saying I agree with you. Thanks for the background! -

@Gozinya A cellist. I was experimenting with using it in different genres in previous years, but for the past year I’ve become inactive while studying baroque composition because I’ve felt like returning counterpoint to modern popularity might be a personal goal of mine. Polyphony never gets old. Might even bring back rock if people see the insanity behind a fugue’s structure. Even the bass or drums might not be immune from being part of the harmony.
I can’t say I’m truly a classical musician, however. Because to me virtuosity means nothing compared to harmony or structure. I felt at first like being melodic was what I wanted but now I’ve matured, it doesn’t seem alright anymore. Anyone who shreds on the cello is missing out on what it can do just by harmonizing with other instruments, even the voice.

I have a video coming out Friday that has a 3-part Harmony. I also have an upgraded version of this craft releasing on the same day. It includes an additional feature that is needed to sync various parts.What type of musician are you?

I keep on wondering just how many tones can play at once in the game, like in a chord. From there harmonies could be added in. I happen to be a musician in person.
