The Tyson Class Frigate is one of the smallest and least expensive warships in the Droo Space Navy. Used mostly in a detection role for heavier warships, the Tyson is wicked quick to accelerate and maneuver. Smaller and fewer engines result in lower thermal radiator demand, which gives the Tyson the smallest radar cross-section in the fleet. Special low-drag landing gear allows for entry and landing on Cylero, and is the premier vehicle for transportation of fleet VIPs
Even with it's low size, the Tyson carries 2 VLS packs for offensive operations. Used to great effect in the 2nd battle of Luna, this small warship is most effective in squads, where they can mass their missile and PDS systems.
