the maus, germany's ultra heavy tank, and still the heaviest tank to ever be built, at just under 190 tons, it reached a max speed of 20km/h (though it usually cruised at 14km/h). thanks to it's absurd weight, it coudn't cross any bridge in all of europe, so the tank was designed to submerge, using a snorkel to feed air to the engine and crew. post ww2 testing showed that the track links were prone to breaking, alongside the suspension and main drive/gearbox, the electric motor coudn't actuate the turret if the tank was on a 10+ degree slope, and the fuel consumption was abhorrent. also, the maus can't neutral steer.
My replica is mostly accurate, apart from the weight, max speed you'll achieve is 14km/h, 20km/h if you go down a slope, the suspension is smooth, the turning radius is that of a pillbox, but it does turn. the electric motor in the turret simply doesn't have enough static resistance to keep it from spinning about, so i added a fork to keep it in place.
now, off to controls:
throttle=throttle
yaw=turn
roll=turret rotation
pitch=turret elevation
ag1=tensioning system(always keep on)
ag4=lower/raises fork
ag5=headlights
and that is about it, juts a heavy, lumbering, complex and beautiful machine, beware of the tracks breaking, it happens sometimes, like it would've on the real thing, also, run this thing with physics settings MAXED OUT, otherwise things may not go well. Have a good day/night, upvote it if you enjoyed, and be careful.
