Auto Credit Based on CedandRossSpaceAgency's SM-65D Atlas Missile

(Manual Launch, no vizzy involved in trajectory-altering events)

For all the people interested in the military, THE US MILITARY...... here's an old gem for you all.

Craft Info:

The SM-65D Atlas is the first operational version of the Atlas ICBM, also the first ICBM developed by the US, designed for use in carrying nuclear warheads in a very wide range of distance. It contains the Atlas D, which would eventually be used for many space missions with some upper stages, and the warhead, which is the G.E. Mk 2 "heat sink" re-entry vehicle with a W49 thermonuclear weapon, capable of an air burst, or bursting at contact with the ground.

Activation Groups and Inputs:

SM-65D Atlas:

AG1: Launch Support Bays

• Simply the clamshell bays on the skirt that close after liftoff for it to become more aerodynamic

AG2: Booster Engines

• Starts the booster engines and its exhaust duct (this action only works once and once you try to turn it on again it won't work even when on)

AG3: Launch Supports

• Executes a code to activate the stage that releases the rocket from the pad, and also lifts up the launch supports in the process

  • Slider 1: Ground Launch Supports
  • Slider 2: Tower Arm

AG4: Sustainer Engine

• Starts the sustainer engine (this action only works once and once you try to turn it on again it won't work even when on)

AG5: Jettison Half Stage

• Executes a code to separate the half stage from the Atlas and create a tumbling effect for it

AG6: Detonate Warhead

• Detonates the Warhead for an Air Burst.

Launch Pad:

AG1: Crane Arm

• Rotates the Crane Arm, and positions the crane

  • Slider 1: Lower arm
  • Slider 2: Upper arm

AG2: Crane Sling

• Extends crane rope with sling

  • Slider 1: Extend crane hook and sling

AG3: Launch Supports

• Same as the one from the Atlas, but the pad chip controls the launch support arms, and it's controlled remotely

  • Slider 1: Ground Support Arms
  • Slider 2: Strongback and Umbilicals

AG6: Launch Clearing Arms

• It's basically that structure that can rotate until, bars from it hit the Atlas. It's probably a support for when the launch vehicle is being rotated to upright (I could make a mechanism like that but as of now it doesn't work right).

  • Slider 1: Launch Clearing Arms

Notes:

The recommended altitude for an air burst is between 3500-1500 km.

An invisible part is at the right of the launch platform, mainly for spacing the craft when you desire to launch it at the ali pad in its current orientation. If you want to launch in Florida- I mean DSC, or want to rotate the craft to better fit it to the Ali Pad, I recommend that you remove the invisible spacer.

The Crane is kinda decorational, but who would want it to not be functional in any way? Certainly not me.

The Sustainer Engine, and the Booster Engines only ignite once to better match the real thing.

There are 3 launch cameras, 2 on pad, and 1 camera, on the rocket.

Pictures used here for the craft post may not show the current version of the craft's design.

Also, I'm sorry but this craft isn't in a 1:1 scale or a perfect 2:1 scale. Although I try my very best to keep the dimensions all correct, correctly adjusted, for the new scale I've just accidentally made for this and can't change. For resizing realism reasons. Enjoy the craft though!

Creator Notes:

First of all, Happy New Year to everyone.
2nd of all, This craft is one thing I wanted to release. Today was the best opportunity to release it. Although it's not in a 1:1 scale, it can still do the same tasks as the real mission, but I do plan to make a 1:1 scale version of the craft, somewhere after the Ranger Missions (coming up after this craft), when I probably get an updated, more realistic or just the date-adjusted edition of the missile (Right now, this is version 1961 (2nd half)). I promise you all, I'll do it. Also, as mentioned, it can only be launched manually, but the release of launch supports, the half stage staging, it's still gonna work under vizzy, but all other aspects are for manual use, to have flexibility in where it will target, since a targeting code is something I can't do right now.

Enjoy the Craft!

Thanks for reading the description! I hope you enjoy this craft! Upvote it if you've really liked it!
