@SomeRando just be walking around school
why is your bag so heavy?
“Oh; that is my satellite”
-
I’d like to see that Drood try to fit the satellite in his pocket

it is bigger than the drood's foot, so not really a pocket sat, more like a bag sat

@Tweedle_Aerospace Glad I'm not the only one. I'm surprised the Saturn V was able to get off of the pad at all!
I'm gonna try the Falcon Heavy next to see how well it performs with the CuteSat. fingers crossed! -

@kittman I know right? I had to use the Saturn V just to get it out of the atmosphere

@DARO After this CuteSat finally loaded without crashing the game, I stripped off four parts (labels/logos) so it was only six parts. However, I had to add a side interchange so I could release it in orbit which made the part count go to seven. Still acceptable, no game crash.
To get this 7-part beast of a satellite into orbit, I needed a powerful booster. I downloaded and used the huge Infinity V Heavy rocket (was uploaded just this morning). It struggled to get off of the pad with the extra weight of the CuteSat, but was finally able to get it into an 80km orbit. It took the Infinity V Heavy, a 215-part, heavy launch vehicle (with a core booster and two strap on boosters) to get the CuteSat into a stable orbit. But into stable orbit it went. 🤪 -

Oh it fits on my high alt planes, I could launch it from 28000km from it with a small missile carrying it rest way .. I could do that with this or a different one I make
