Developed by Porgistan in the 2000's to replace the Waltz-Schuster. It carries a small caliber cannon, an AA cannon and has the ability to carry 120 missiles in it's VLS silos, with it's main role being to escort and protect other ships.
It has stealth capabilities and also a hangar for helicopters.
The Niels Juel class serves in the Asharian and Porgistan navies, as a replacement to the Schuster.
