Thought I could make this while working on my Saturn V.

Apollo 5 was the first flight of the Apollo Lunar Module. It was an uncrewed Earth orbital mission to test various aspects of it, such as the ascent and descent stage engines.

Optimized for RSS and requires the RSS Rebalance mod.

    Thanks for your answer. Basically, if one learns the appropriate Dry Mass, Wet mass , correct ISP and thrust numbers, the MOD is not necessary but still is a good approximator for the novice. I have the real Engines for RSS mod in use now and Imagine it would be not needed as well plugging in the real numbers as you mentioned?
    I'm afraid I took it that the standard game was accurate and the mods as well. I have no issue at all researching true numbers for a project.
    I think the work you have done is fantastic and right up my ally. Living through the space race was quite an adventure.

    @RichGWall The rebalance mod tweaks various integers such as fuel capacities, engine thrust and engine isp so that they are better suited to RSS. I mainly used it because the base game’s tank capacities are too low, for example if you a have a fuel tank in the base game it will only store about 50-60% of what it would in a real life fuel tank of the same size, which would degrade the performance of full-scale replicas in RSS. This mod mostly fixes that. Now I just use the tinker panel to adjust the fuel capacity and isps in my newer crafts so that they are downloadable by mobile users.

    Could I ask what the rebalance mod actually does? If you use it , it must be worthwhile.
