This is Solara's first satellite, used to study the mysteriously beautiful gas giant, Urados, that lives at the very edge of our solar system. Our rocket uses the same launcher as our Cylero rover. We then use a specially designed third stage to send the satellite on an intercept course for Urados. The satellite itself features 2 satellite dishes, 2 large solar panel arrays, and 5 high-tech ion engines to provide small corrections and find tune its course.
instructions:
1. Launch rocket straight up until you escape droo SOI. You should have just started the third stage and have a little over 7,000 km/s left.
use planned burn to intercept Urados. You might have slightly less delta V than it requires... this is fine, the ion engines will handle the rest.
after completing the burn (or depleting the stage), separate the satellite.
Move slider 1 down to open the satellite antennas. activate the ion engines. open the solar arrays.
Use ion engines to finish burn to intercept Urados (use 25-100x).
Use prograde as well as any other directions to reduce the periapsis at Urados as much as desired. You should be doing this immediately after step 5, because the farther from the sun you get, the less power the solar panels produce. When engines are not in use, set pitch to 90 so panels are aimed directly at sun.
