    What if we did something like tween the tinker panel to cheat fuel, miniaturise and 2x stack some electric motors then we could fine tune it until we have a one bladed copeter, hell even if we had to increase mass to compensate for a force I am not considering that may alter the physic, but like putting having a falling gyrocopter that you add power , well that’s proven to work, so how a deceleratior to a unacopter could have a different set of fundamentals is beyond me. If you are on a project or it will otherwise be awhile , I will pull this mess so no one else takes that idea

    I had googled relevant terms to try to locate that pdf you had linked me with, maybe the wrong spinner page, dunno, well HIAD results polluted my results so much there was no finding much else. Yea know I had read up on the specifics of your flight characteristics that stuck me as not ideal at my first glance and after the first couple hours messing with your design, and , like I mentioned early on, inverting the airfoil would only serve to drive you in the ground relative to the default, also there is the wing; u got it on right, while my ‘laix’ eye,using the leading edge as the one of the wings 4 ‘cardinal directions that is most easy to define, that would put it on the left in the settings so even if I can only be confident that one of those two things is not what you meant . Like a tail wing, a classic inverted wing, well you wouldn’t put the inverted airfoil & list the left wing as right one. It seems like they mean the same things. So I think you told me once that you meant it, would you 2x check. While yours will actually gain altitude for a while with your slider, but after that advantage passes, the average slowest controlled decent was with your baby and only those 2x corrections made. I am confident in saying that the avg decent speed, once the air is thick enough to take a bite taken out of it, is 31m/s (I drop from 18k or 15k …even then it’s over too fast) I had over a ton of dummy weight when these results occurred.

    As for the hinge to protect the cargo, well I might point your attention to the multi-continental, nowhere is it on the endangered species lists, the maple seed

    Thanks. Actually, i have known the HIAD program since 2020. I was interested in it. But i then decided to design something of my own. What do you mean by msg by the way? Also, the spinner decelerator only use part of the material of HIAD, because when it spins, it is just like the HIAD. @Samps0n

    I just saw this, sorry, it’s 4am, but I won’t let ya down on this. I was actually crawling google on this topic. I believe HIAD is the testing of using an inflatable decelerator for orbital reenergise, I think anyway if not I will have to edit this msg, it’s right in part I am sure…without the spin, it’s one of the only hits I get on the top is of spinning decelerators

    @Samps0n thank you for your input. Originally it was designed to be just like a seed pod of maple trees, i was afraid that centrifugal force can act badly upon the payload, so there is a rotator in the middle of it. And the hinge was just used to smooth the descent. The problem was, that simple rockets was not enough for fluid dynamics. So it cannot give th true real-time test results. (I have done real time tests, and without the hinge rotator and rotator and it worked fine) and you said something about data?can you email some data to me ? My email address is neilliaa@163.com

    With the hinge, see this part is new to me, as I am sure you know nature has some examples of this, in my knowledge the seed pod. So can you tell what the hinge does exactly? Also the rotater, wouldn't it word the same without the rotator aspect to it. I just added weight to it, that and with the gyro I had better consistent results in deceleration. Experimenting with the hinge I got it to go back up in altitude for a moment buy I can't consistently repeat it. It's funny, I don't usually have patience with restarting the simulation but with yours it's quit the opposite. I have forms some data online, I am reading it now.

    Great time trying to decelerate and I realised you have a program and I can understand what it does, I got it as low as 26m/s with normal drag settings in thinker panel. I kept true to you design and I got better results without the airfoil inverted while all else was same, is this a typo? Why cargo bays? I got gyros to work well. I had added 5000kg. Also the right wing, am I not using my brain for this process or is it not the left? Sorry I am trying to learn these things
