The Hill Tech XV-10B Vulture is a long-range, multi-mission, tiltrotor military aircraft with both vertical takeoff and landing and short takeoff and landing capabilities. It has a top speed of ~150m/s and a large troop capacity
CRUCIAL NOTES FOR OPERATION OF HILL TECH V-10B VULTURE:
• When taking off, Never set throttle above 40% with rotators titted~85°
• NEVER SET THROTTLE TO 100 IF ROTORS ARE NOT 0°
• For landing, slowly tilt rotors to 90° @ 45-35% throttle
• When landing, when AGL~ 10, increase throttle to 36-40% for a softer landing, always be prepared to set throttle between 35-40% when landing
• When rotors are 45° throttle should be below 45%
• Take off, increase throttle when you are high enough and tilt rotors to 0° slowly
•Use flaps (slider 2) for landing and take off, when rotors are 90°
•Trim (slider 4) should be used only when rotors are >30° and should slowly be increased/decreased until the nose is at the desired position.
•A vertical acceleration of over -5 and a surface velocity of over 10 m/s may result in damage to landing gear and/or craft
•When landing vertically, autopilot is not suggested as it may not control the craft as well as you would like it to
(Note that if you switch to an astronaut or crew that is not in a seat, and the craft is not in its VTOL configuration, the rotor will stop spinning and the craft will crash if control is not re-established)
