My small manned craft I use for exploring the system. Took me awhile to build, first thing like it. It includes vertical take off and landing that works pretty well.
Flight controls

Ag2: hyperspace engines
Ag3: vtol and landing legs

Ag7: interior light

Ag9: nothing
Ag10: RCS
Slider 1 up: slides vtol engines out
Brake slider: uses rocket engines to slow down, this slows you down
Flight tips: when taking off and landing, use gyroscope and rcs, however it is possible not to use them.
When taking off, turn rcs and gyroscope off.
When using hyperspace engines, lock target, and fly. Likely will need course adjustments.
