Zhuque 3 (or ZQ-3) is a reusable liquid oxygen-methane launch vehicle independently developed by LandSpace Co., Ltd.
The rocket has a diameter of 4.5 meters, a fairing diameter of 5.2 meters, a total length of 76.6 meters, a take-off weight of about 660 tons, a take-off thrust of about 900 tons, a one-time mission low-orbit carrying capacity of 21.3 tons, and a recovery mission of 18.3 tons, which will greatly increase the carrying capacity. For the first time, stainless steel was used as the storage tank material, which has the advantages of high strength, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and extremely low cost, and can also achieve industrial rapid manufacturing.
On December 9, 2023, LandSpace released a new model rocket, Zhuque 3, which will enter the final assembly stage in 2025 and have the conditions for its first flight.
