Hello! So as you may have already noticed, I have no skills when it comes to building stuff in this game. This is why I am reaching out to the almighty builders of SR2 -please build me a better Onewheel. I request and suggest that you do heavy research on the design so we can get it as realistic as possible. I don’t really care which of the six models you choose, you can even freestyle it a little if you want. :) That being said, I recommend doing either the Pint or XR models, because you will be able to find dimensions/characteristics of those boards much easier than, say, the GT -which hasn’t even been released yet. People would love to see the GT but I’m afraid you wouldn’t easily be able to get an accurate design without doing HEAVY research. Your choice though. :p

If anyone has ideas on easy fixes I could do, such as how can I make this thing turn, or even BALANCE WITHOUT LANDING GEAR, that would be super appreciated lmao.

Thanks!! :)

@OmniExplorationDivision honestly, with the tricks we’re talking about, just a little hop would be perfect, like Flight Fins. When we think about Bonks, Curb Nudges, Nose/Tail—slides/drags, all it really takes is just a touch of air. There’s like one place where a curb nudge would even be possible on Droo, though. Maybe, in an accessory pack, there can be some parking curbs. :)

If you don’t know the what the onewheel trick names mean, a Bonk is an Ollie and a Curb Nudge is just a way to make the board climb up the curb, and a Nose slide is like a rail grind and a Nose drag is just over-accelerating the board so much that the nose drags on the ground as you go.

Honestly, a onewheel is half the battle.
Should you manage to create a perfect Onewheel, you still need a skilled entity to stand on/control the thing.
Its supposed to be a skateboard that can do tricks.
SR2 will limit you to just going forward and backward. Should you manage to find a pendulum between the two.
Vizzy could offer trick options but wait a few years till you are better

    Try the tinker options.
It will allow you to shrink some parts very small.
Hiding a gyro in heads or inside other parts is a matter of using the Part Translation Tool and the Part Connection Tool

I thought the wheel couldn’t move without a motor! Of course it’s not for looks it’s the main thing that’s causing me balancing issues haha

I’m glad you know the tail is heavier🙃 How would one add a battery inside the tail? -unless the sides were exposed to the outside, which I could do; I could make it a layer.

That’s true, I need a Drood with some coordination! But uhhh how do you put a gyro in his head?!😂 And how do you get him to stay on the board?

Let’s hope, I have no clue how to do anything with Vizzy.

Okay, I suppose I could just start from scratch and make it smaller. But how do you do fine details? I’ve seen people make the most realistic looking details on here, and I’m convinced you can’t do it without a PC. And all I really wanna do is make the head/tail light holes look the shape they are supposed to be, I want it to have a handle on the bottom front if possible, and MAYBE be able to add a fender.

    .

If I need to make/get someone to make a separate version that’s bigger so it can have fender and fine details, that’s fine I can try and make two of these. Thanks for your help!! :)

You will also need to rebuild it smaller to accommodate a Droonauts size. I already tried to fit one on there for you.

If the motor is just for looks I would disconnect it from the wheel an let the wheel do the work.
The nose needs to be a bit lighter than the tail. I would get rid of the biggest batteries front and back and just add a hidden battery inside the tail to make it balance it right.
As for driving, you can't have an astronaut without a gyro in his head.
    .
All in all you should just cheat and add more batteries and a big Gyroscope for a lower center of gravity so it can handle the top heavy astronaut.
Gyro will allow it to turn without adding sensors via vizzy work.

To those who don’t know, a Onewheel is often described as a single wheeled self-balancing electric skateboard, and boy is it just a magical piece of technology. You should just give it a little Google, so you can check it out. :)

I have a Onewheel Pint with 700 miles on it currently, and a GT coming in February, hopefully. Super excited!!

Also, if anyone really does take on the challenge of creating this, is it possible to get a Drood to ride it? Lmao
