1. Preliminary

Before downloading, in order to minimize mishaps, It is really recommended to read the "Important notes" at the bottom of the description marked with a square block with the same name, more specifically the 5th point just prior to closing and credits. Any essential informations can be obtained from that part. However, it is your call.

... The Prince's Ace. The Emperor's Grace, The 6th gen wannabe, the Witherer B, well, you may call it as anything you will. Similar to every other pilot in the royal air force.. forever loyal to the Emperor.... for it is the only true gift filled with his eagerness in pursuing the heaven's lantern of his Empire..
-The sole heir to the empire, Raden "Prince" Alderran Pandhita, Lotus 1 .

Greetings.😁

... Well.. uhh.. let's just say that the voices are getting louder and I must make a superplane.. once more? Maybe.
On this occassion, I shall proceed to bring something new to the table. While approaching Belkan-Witchcraft-Technology, it has been able to keep some realism on its belt. I have tried to learn some new tricks here and there, including the really helpful image-to-label website that really trimmed the part count of this aircraft and prevented it to burn my laptop, while still holding the craziness of what you might expect to an aircraft out of the Ace Combat franchise.
And now, I hereby announce the publicity of.. The 23rd designated supermaneuverable high speed stealth fighter version B of the Ostaranian Royal Air Force...
..uhh what is it called?
Oh, yeah!
the Witherer B!

•[ 𝐅/𝐒-𝟐𝟑 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐁 ]

Take a note that this aircraft is pure fiction that does not exist in any real platform. Anything that is related to the real world/any other fictional designs were taken as inspiration. Alright? Let's dive in!

2. Lore [Skipable]

Prior to the Apollyon's emergence, the F/S-23 is the most technologicaly advanced aircraft ever developed by the Second Empire of Ostara. By taking a good look on it, it is easy to identify that this aircraft is not just any 5th gen aircraft. It has advanced sensors, ranging from IRST to any essential sensors that are already battle-proven from the previous engagements since its commissioning. The Aircraft has all this technology thanks to the dedication of the Ostaranian Royal Research Center [OSRAC] and, of course, became the standard-issue fifth gen aircraft in the Empire. Furthermore, it also has an interesting thing going on behind the development of this aircraft.

The lead designer of this aircraft was the Emperor today, Raden II. Prior to his reign today, he was a bright aeronautical engineering student and he successfuly brought himself to the prestigious schools and ended up working in this royal research center. His father realized that there was a lack of 5th gen aircraft to complement their Triad of Air Dominance doctrine. Some years followed, now with the experience he needed, Raden II was selected alongside other designers in that bureau during the development process. In the end, OSRAC won and the other bureaus with their own products were moved into a different objective that kickstarted VX-X, that was to develop the Apollyon exactly before the war with a country on the other side of the globe. Within the time frame between Apollyon's emergence and Witherer's Maiden flight, an improvement to further increase the perfomance of the F/S-23 was explored, even some of the scientist were commited to improve this into 6th gen. However, this improvement only came as far as a simple tweaks and turning this aircraft into a somewhat 5th+ gen aircraft.

This aircraft was first flown during a certain time nearing the end of the millennium. The test pilot was revealed to be the Emperor's son himself, Alderran. He was the squadron leader of a squadron under the 12th Advanced Fighter Wing named Lotus Squadron. While the test flights were in progress, the Dominion Squadron was also present to assist them and eventually became the famous squadron because of their phenomenal performance with this aircraft.

However, the test flights were eventually found out by the public, with their ingenuity getting more massive as the months progress. Eventually, the Emperor himself ordered to give some informations to the public. Some were known, such as a compact laser weapon, and a total of 6 missiles able to be stored stealthly.

3. Primary specifications

From here, we are going to talk about the aircraft's description and gameplay, ranging from its appearance, Vizzy, maneuverability, and propulsions.

A). Appearance

The F/S-23 has a unique delta wing design similar to some renders of FA-XX. It has a lot of control surfaces area that makes it have faster reaction and maneuverability. It has twin vertical stabilizers with identifications and yaw control surfaces. It has noticable panels all over the aircraft with serrated edges to improve stealth. Other than that, it has twin propulsion with a flat nozzle that increase stealth. A pair of large canards is also present on the side of the twin inlets. Those canards are able to be locked, act as an extra pitch and roll authority, and also to assist lift and stability. This can be accessed via Activation Group. The canards and the overall design of the aircraft makes it incredibly agile while being stable. For the size, It has the dimensions as follows:

Length: 23.9 meters
Width: 13.8 meters
Height: 4.92 meters

Which is comparable to the real life 5th gens, albeit being relatively longer than them.
(Pardon the commas)

A small blueprint and an underside photoshoot, missiles in the photo is from Fake Weapons Mod and not included in this post. You can integrate them with your very own ordnances

In summary, this aircraft features:

1). Unique delta wing design with large wing area
2). Responsive large twin canards
3). Configurable canards following the user input
4). Large and side weapons bay capable to be modified
5). Functional thrust vectoring
6). Agile and stable

B). Monitoring

With many data being thrown around, I made a QOL Vizzy that displays the necessary flightdata (can be seen from the picture below) so you can sit back and enjoy while monitoring the aircraft with ease. It also contains some warnings to enhance awareness.

The data display

A live demonstration of it during high alpha maneuver

In addition, there are several features in this aircraft to further smoothen its performance, such as:

1). Automatic landing gear retraction after surpassing Mach 0.8
2). Functional thrust vectoring with moving nozzles
3). Programmed engine to accomodate omnidirectional thrust control
4). Automatic leading edge slats adjustments to AoA
5). Friendly data display

C). Maneuverability

This aircraft has a really strong structural integrity that allows it to handle up to 60 Gs. Even though the design can pull a max of around 40 Gs of maneuver. Not only that, it has a high sustained turn rate of more than 40°/s at certain conditions. Combine that with TVCs, and you get a dogfighting monster. It can perform a lot of complex maneuvers with the right conditions, i.e. post-stall maneuvers, such as Kulbit, Kvochur's Bell, Pugachev's Cobra, and more.

Pugachev's Cobra and Kvochur's Bell maneuvers

To put it simply, the Witherer B has:

1). Agility comparable or even more than the Sukhoi series, with sustained turn rate around 40 degrees/second or so
2). Been able to perform complex maneuvers
3). Strong structure to pull ultra-high G

D). TVC and Propulsions

Speaking about thrust vectoring, it is inferred that this aircraft actually has 3D thrust vectoring in contrast to its flat nozzles normally associated with 2D thrust vectoring. The yaw control itself is achieved with thrust differential with its advanced engines that spew out more than 200 kilonewtons of thrust, each. This enables the aircraft to supercruise at Mach 1.8 and the maximum speed of more than Mach 3.

In short, here are the detailed propulsion stats:

1). Mach 1.8 supercruise
2). Faster than Mach 3 rated maximum velocity at afterburner
3). 3 dimensional thrust vectoring control
4). High TWR perfomance from a total of 400 kilonewtons of thrust
5). High acceleration

4. Controls

The controls of this aircraft are pretty straightforward and the AGs are already labeled accordingly. But still, here are the controls:

A). Main Controls and its sliders

- Throttle: Normal throttle control
- Pitch: Normal pitch control
- Roll: Normal roll control
- Yaw: Normal yaw control
- Brake: Normal brake control

B). Activation Groups

- AG 1 : Engine [Activates the propulsions]
- AG 2 : Thrust Vectoring [Activates TVC]
- AG 3 : Close Side Weapons Bay
- AG 4 : Close Main Weapons Bay
- AG 5 : Airbrake [Using brake control]
- AG 7 : Landing Lights
- AG 8 : Landing Gears
- AG 9 : Formation Lights
- AG 10 : Navigation Lights
- AG 11 : Laser Weapon
- AG 12 : Info Display
- AG 14 : Wings

C). Other Controls

- Slider 4 : Manual canard adjustment while grounded, automatically sets to 0 when airborne

5. Important Notes

1). Prior to the first take-off, the canards are locked to prevent it from tweaking at the ground. It could be changed via AG 6 if you may.
2). The weapons bay may show some part clipping anomaly on start. However, this can be fixed by opening and closing them.
3). This aircraft has nearly 800 parts. Lesser than my previous aircraft, but still, a tad too much.
4). Thrust vectoring cannot be activated if the propulsions are offline.
5). You may experience a little bit of input lag after pressing AG 6. However, it will not take long.
6). Pay attention when opening the side bays. Lock the canards or stay level when opening it to avoid damage. Or, don't pull negative Gs.
7). It is recommended to turn off Re-entry/Vapor tails because a custom condensed air is present in order to not overlap those two effects.

6. Closing and Credits

In summary, the F/S-23 is an excellent airframe that is both stealthy and agile. It has the technologies and features to not only keep up, but also to surpass the adversaries, while also being user friendly.
Alas, everything and anything has to come to an end. Thank you for stopping by and reading this post. I hope everybody has a nice day😁

@SpaceFrog Unfortunately, I can't touch the game for a while since I got a test to prepare until June, I'm afraid that you have to find other feller to try it. My apologies💀
As far as I can see, to enhance maneuverability, you can try to move the center of mass closer to the center of lift so that It will become more unstable as it goes. Other than that, you can utilize gyroscopes to get the aircraft's instant turn rate up and hope that it stalls the wing and perform a cobra

@SpaceFrog That rate is already better than every plane in real life if I'm not mistaken, maybe try to enhance lift via large wings or extra wings that could provide lift while at a high AoA😁
