STS-8 Made the 1st night launch of the shuttle program as well as the 1st night landing of the program. It also tested the Canadarm on a heavy payload, the Payload Flight Test Article. It also deployed one satellite, INSAT-1B, that after geostationary orbit insertion, didn't open it's solar panel because of a problem. It could've had the same fate as it's predecessor, INSAT-1A, but the solar panel was eventually opened successfully. The shuttle also tested the communications with the TDRS-1 satellite so that it can act as a fully operational communications relay for satellites, for the ISS and for the next missions of the space shuttle in the future.

@Comeonsimplerockets2 Go to edit hidden properties, then press the left button once, then look for exhaustcolor, then look for the hex code of the color and put it there on the exhaustcolor (don't forget to put a # on the beginning) then press apply.
