The first homegrown design by Droo Aircraft Industries [DAI], the JI-1 was originally designed as a high-speed interceptor aircraft. Its most unusual aspect is the tail-mounted engine offset upwards. The JI-1 had a short service life due to stability issues, but it found itself useful as a planetary atmospheric research aircraft.
I attempted to make a fictional fighter aircraft with a 1950s-60s theme to it. Not recommended to fly maneuvers at speeds in excess of 250 m/s [the wings may break off, if anyone can tell me how to fix it it'd be nice]
