Say Hello to the Galileo Series of Rockets!

The Galileo Series of rockets is a new type of rocket family, that includes Orbital Variants, and Lunar Variants. Each one is equipped with a unique set of abilities.

This Variant? The Cargo Orbital Version YY!

Stats:

• Can Carry 30,000Kg to Low Droo Orbit by landing on the launch pad, or 37,000 by landing on a droneship at sea.
• No Tinker Panel only used to make cargo hinge open better
• This Version is Fully Reusable!
• You may notice no heat shield, more on that later.

Controls: (Make sure to quick-save often)

• Set Craft Pich to 90 Degrees
• And, I guess heading to wherever you want.
• At 1,500 Meters above sea level, set craft pich to 75 and slowly go down.
• You should be around 55 Degrees pich at 5,000m ASL
• KEEP GOING DOWN until at 10,000m ASL
• Throttle down to 80%
• Fly your way to 25,000m ASL and put throttle to 100%
• Once at 15% Fuel, Activate stage and switch to Galileo Superheavy (or over the droneship)
• Keep in mind the second stage engine should still be firing.
• Boost Back till you’re over the Space Center (Dont boost back if your going for the droneship)
• Switch to second stage and get Apopasis above 100Km
• Switch to Superheavy and try to land.
• Land on Land! ( Or droneship) Preferably with one engine activated.
• Switch Back to second stage and insert in orbit.

Now Comes the Time to De-Orbit.

Use engines to get Periapsis below 53Km and set pich to 45* I chose this height as to not burn up in the atmosphere Use fins (Slider 1 and 2) to Keep orientation and turn on Second stage RCS. When below Mach 2 (686 m/s) orient yourself retrograde and try to land. In testing, this all should work given you use every efficiency in the book.

What’s “YY” You Ask?

It’s simple! YY stands for Yes, Yes, In reusability. Meaning the first and second stage are reuseable.

Where will this craft go?

This series of crafts will be used for the “Solar Alliance.” And for personal missions exploring the new planets being added (at the time of writing) Soon-ish.
