This is an almost perfect 1:1 scale replica Of the Atlas V, the same rocket that launched Curiosity, and that will soon launch Perseverance. I hand built this to actual dimensions, an example is the main booster code with a diameter of 3.8 m.
Anyways, this has the capability of launching large satellites like the Space Force’s AEHF satellite. I might build Perseverance as a follow up soon.
The staging is extended to add aesthetics is, as in the ‘pipes’ or whatever they are that connect to the side, and fall down when launching. This is for aesthetics only, but don’t go into slow mode, because it glitches out and can destroy everything. Also don’t start your gravity turn too early.
This build has not been tested for RSS, so only stock planets and ESS.
One more thing, this is the base design without a payload, and it already isn’t very mobile friendly. So with a payload, it may be less mobile friendly.
So thanks for reading and hopefully you like this craft. I’ve spent plenty of time on it so I appreciate any feedback. Please credit me if you use this, otherwise enjoy!
Cheers!

Amazing rocket, nice!
@Natedoge it doesnt work. plus i dont know how to set the Navball. but thanks
@RandomDude77 hmm idk I haven’t used it in a while, just make sure you set the Navball or pitch, I haven’t played SR2 in a while, and also I haven’t tested or used this in a while
yo i need some help. why does it turn left during liftoff?
@Meghnamaji I meant gravity turn
@Natedoge @Meghnamaji just barely but it should get into it. Are you using a good drawing turn @Meghnamaji ?
It should. It did when I tested d @Meghnamaji
Oh okay. Sure. You don’t need to credit me as long you change it somewhat. @Tweedle_Aerospace
@MansBestFriend I am going to try and create a RTSS rocket. Not particularly a replica but this Centaur is great and has plenty of fuel and RCS for my purposes.
Sure, what do you need it for? @Tweedle_Aerospace
@MansBestFriend could I use your centuar?
That’s the 551 design @akenosendpie
@akenosendpie because it is 551 model it has large oxygen and hydrogen(maybe other) pipes on its sides so it is aligned like that
Why the other side has 3 booster
It’ll be done In maybe 2 weeks (?) @Indospaceprogram
I’m making it rn@Indospaceprogram
Can you add perseverance rover
Oh lol ok. @DoublehshAircraftinc
@NateDoge sorry wrong person 🤣
Clory posted a forum of his atlas V, and he asked the community to comment “t” for “tag me”
Due to the dong on you profile photo I mistook you for Clory
Did I need to? @DoublehshAircraftinc
@NateDoge xc why didn't you tag me?
Yeah @Indospaceprogram
Good for transfering perseverance rover
Okay cool! @ANik2007
