This is my replica of the European Space Agency ARIANE 5 ECA heavy-lift two-staged rocket. This is only for Earth RSS version of the game, it will function on Droo but not as realistic as RSS.
I tried my best replicating the actual features, performance and aesthetics of the real Ariane 5 ECA basing on Data Sheets and Photos. However, the real Ariane 5 features a long burning but very low power Core and 2nd stage engine, only 960kN for the core and 67kN for the 2nd stage, this makes the Ariane 5 really difficult to fly. This real features don't match and function precisely on RSS. So I made the engines much powerful than the original, but with a decrease on burn time to make fuel consumption still realistic. Even if I made the engines packed with more thrust, it's still a low power engine so my version still have a complexity to fly just like the real Ariane 5, but only lesser. So you need to consider flying the Ariane 5 with a pitch of 10° to 20° to maintain altitude until orbit is acheived.
Craft Key Features:
- Accurate dimentions and weights.
- Realistic performance.
- Highly detailed model.
The Doube Payload Adapter allows you to attach 2 payloads for one launch. For single payloads, simply drag and remove the Double Payload Adapter, use AG2 to release payload in single payload configuration.
Payload Capacity:
LEO - 20,000kg
GSO - 10,800kg
Lighter Payloads can go further.
Activation Groups:
AG1 - Releases upper payload for double payload flights.
AG1 - Parachute (BOOSTER)
AG2 - Releases lower payload for double/single payload flights.
AG3 - Activates RCS.
Note: Launch Immidiately at launch pad, it loves to tip over. This rocket will get updates for improvements in the future. Enjoy!

Very nice, better than mine, but you know the booster have been recovered once, and never reused
I like this rocket so much, Because the first rocket I ever learned about was this one.
