The Kuaizhou-1A launch vehicle (KZ-1A) is a three-stage solid launch vehicle developed by the China Aerospace Science and Industry Carrier Technology Research Institute (Fourth Academy of Aerospace Science and Industry). It was built on the original Kuaizhou-1 star and arrow integrated carrier. A general-purpose solid launch vehicle developed on the basis of improvement has expanded the length and diameter of the fairing, improved mission adaptability, and increased the space for loading satellites while ensuring the carrying capacity. The rocket adopts the vehicle-mounted mobile launching method, which is mainly aimed at the launch of small satellites and networking, and has the capability of multi-satellite launch.

The Kuaizhou-1 carrier rocket carries about 20m, the take-off mass is about 30t, the maximum diameter is 1.4m, the carrying capacity of the solar synchronous circular orbit is 200kg / 700km, and the carrying capacity of the low earth orbit is 300kg.

On January 9, 2017, Kuaizhou-1A completed its first flight at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, and successfully sent the "Jilin-1" dexterous video star 03 and Xingyun Experimental No.1 and Kaidun-1 two cube stars into Space, and achieved the initial first commercial launch vehicle launch service.
