INFO (from wikipedia)
The SR-71 was developed as a black project from the Lockheed A-12 reconnaissance aircraft during the 1960s by Lockheed's Skunk Works division. American aerospace engineer Clarence "Kelly" Johnson was responsible for many of the aircraft's innovative concepts. The shape of the SR-71 was based on that of the A-12, which was one of the first aircraft to be designed with a reduced radar cross-section. At one point, a bomber variant of the aircraft was under consideration, before the program was focused solely on reconnaissance. Mission equipment for the reconnaissance role included signals intelligence sensors, a side-looking airborne radar, and a photo camera; the SR-71 was both longer and heavier than the A-12, allowing it to hold more fuel as well as a two-seat cockpit. The SR-71 designation has been attributed to lobbying efforts by USAF Chief of Staff General Curtis LeMay, who preferred the SR (Strategic Reconnaissance) designation over simply RS (Reconnaissance). The aircraft was introduced to operational service in January 1966.

@Polygons Thanks for the compliments! Learning about and building engineering marvels like the blackbird have always been a fascination of mine. It's nice sharing it with others for sure.

On decent it looks like a space shuttle entering the atmosphere, also I was able to break Mach 4

LMAO your so kind really like I said I just can't help but brag about the facts that were already listed in the description. That they were accurate if you had prior knowledge and how awesome it is to see the design to be so accurate too. Awesome work. Hey I can finally up vote now thanks too all this chatting...

@Mostly I don't speak of any other then my beautiful darling, my Country tis of Thee, the Only One for YEARS...
1 Never shot down
2 Never has the craft fallen or been captured by the enemy, a plane flying so fast that the surface gets so HOT she once burned the paint off during testing!
NO SIR you see I speak of the greatest of all time the ghostly version that so very few speak of I do half worry about mentioning her existence and it's purpose even though she is retired. It was for delivering a special arsenal of two of the worst kind in her huge camera bay that had to be modified slightly it was if ICBMs were detected she could drop 2 and do a U-Turn back to the West or East Coast in the same time it took one ICBM to go up and then do it's deed. Me and a friend did the math once for proof it was high but it matched what some pilots say about the Maximum G force the human body can endure. Only a full sized craft would've been able to do this flight. Some know because it was their job at one time and they like to mention when it was the best there was around for years and years...oh many a year did she reign I had just only hoped that in secret she still flies over somewhere forever and ever. If this is too much info you'll know because it won't be here. Gotta love America for this planes design and your recreation of it.
She's so bad lookin' that the creators and artists of the show G.I. JOE had to put it on the Cobras team just to make up for every time they lost. :D ROFL -

@FuelsRHeavyRocketLiteTIME You're talking about the A-12 delivered to the CIA. This is the SR-71. The A-12 was for strike and photo reconnaissance while the SR-71 was strictly for photo reconnaissance. All of the A-12 aircraft have either been grounded permanently or cannibalized for parts.

@Ufosarereal No, I only created a replica of #17971, the one you're talking about is #17859. Each blackbird has some difference between them depending who it was operated by, but I made a replica for this specific plane for that exact reason.

Do you have the Variant of the black bird With the longer tail as seen at Eglin AFB
