The Orion FJ-17N is a carrier borne multirole fighter designed to replace the dated delta-canard FJ-11N fighters. While it never saw combat, it did participate in one of if not the largest recorded military exercises in history. The aircraft was not retired until the early 21st century following its long service with the RUN.
