GSLV MK-5 is the fifth major iteration of India's heavy lifting rockets. It is ISRO's most powerful rocket, specifically designed for orbiter and lander missions to Mars. The MK-5 has better engines, an extra stage and 4 (instead of 2) side boosters as compared to the GSLV MK-3.
