It’s just a little experiment with steam engine mechanisms. The pistons aren’t actually powered (the game freaks out when I tried to piston power it), but it does have exterior plumbing, a warmup time, a reversing lever, gagues, and lights. Use Slider I to control the lever, Slider II to control the lights, Roll to steer the engine, and Throttle to throttle the boiler. If you pilot it correctly, the Stirling can be extremely manoeuvrable and pull off sick drifts.
I never actually built for it a boiler, so just assume it works off of science, molecules, and convenience.

@theSupreme if I understand correctly what it is you said, the only way the engine can do a thing is if I connect the flywheel to a custom built wheel, and that doesn’t work because those suckers either get no traction and/or are schlorped up by the road. I could probably try again when I make another engine.

It's pretty cool! you can try to implement the movement due to the reactive force of the engine.
