So basically this is a F9 rip off and my first reusable craft and of course a second stage and fairing will follow. Anyway please share any issues you had flying this craft and if any of you made a f9 before how did you solve the issue with the grid fins only being able to control pitch

@Einstein100 youre right i could do my own thing with the upper stage and i already designed a sort of "mini starship" wich fits on top and uses methalox

@Einstein100 yes i can download engines from other users but then it wouldnt count as my craft as the credit would go to the makers of that engine. But i found a solution for the styling. Im using a delta nozzle default engine and putting a mage engine inside it this way it looks like the real f9 upper stage and still has the correct thrust

@AstrumY, well, the F9 core stage is 12ft diameter, and yours is about 14ft, you could put a little modification in there to make its performance better. But, only having the free bundle would make it hard… can you at least download different engines of different sizes?

@Einstein100 oh and I only have the free version so I can't edit the engines so I'm forced to stick with the default ones (and the mage engine is the ripoff merlin and uses kerolox)

As for the pitch problem, make two different sets of grid fins, and apply yaw control to one pair and pitch control to the other.

@AstrumY, you should use a Hydrolox or Methalox Upper Stage for this, unless you already have one. Just an idea.
