@NebulaSpaceAgency @Arstotzka Nevermind I figured it out
I realized that the larger the thing the wheel is attached to, the less it bends. So I did this: https://www.simplerockets.com/c/18C1Tr/CA-ACV-MK3B-actual-tracks -

@TheCanuckle642 the wheels do bend and that’s just how sr2 works. you can ask for better help on hiw to prevent that on the SRC Discord

@NebulaSpaceAgency Alrighty is this how you do it

The only issue is that the wheels bend for some reason -

0.1m in the designer is 100mm, just shove a round strut in the barrel. use 0.01 grid size for specific sized

@NebulaSpaceAgency The only part that’s “Abrams” is there rear end, I pretty much copied that. Everything else is fairly different.
How do I figure out the mm of the gun? I just went for something that looked like a realistic size.
And I also tried to do suspension but gave up on it after it would just fall apart for no reason, even though I checked part connections multiple times and everything was good. -

abrams knockoff
.
also i have tips:
textures are bad, if you want a certain detail make it. textures just don’t look good.
use references, i noticed your wheels are huge.
avoid shottraps, basically sloped bits that, if they were shot, they would deflect into the vehicle.
avoid flat plates on the front, more flat the easier to penetrate, 45 degree angles are good. (basically just don’t pull an early ww2 germany)
periscope good, window bad. your driver periscopes are huge and basically windows, making them smaller would be nice.
and the final tip that i have that isn’t just build tip, don’t use any gun over 150mm, most modern MBT’s use 120mm cannons
.
edit: make custom suspension, just using shocks or built-in suspension on the wheels are bad. (if you dunno how just google tank suspension types or something like that)
I really like it thanks
