Auto Credit Based on Hobbes28's M-114A1 Badger
After reviewing the capabilities of the M-123 Mongoose it was decided that there was need for a design evolution. The Weasel is an IFV as opposed to an APC, trading protection for speed and mobility. This allows it to out manuver other crafts, then strike with its enhanced armaments. Asides from the addition of remotely operated machine gun, the main gun has been fitted with a thermal sleeve to reduce heat signatures after firing. A pair of TOW missiles have also been installed to give top-down attack capabilities against heavily armored targets. Lastly as a lightweight measure of protection shaped charge fencing surrounds the vehicle to protect against direct hits from penetrator warheads. Seats 16.
