Soyuz 7K-OK was the first generation of Soyuz spacecraft and was flown between 1967 and 1971.[1] The 7K-OK was used for the first ferry flights to the Salyut space station program, beginning a long history of space station service that continues today with the ISS.
As of 2020, the 7K-OK is notable for the only fatalities of the Soyuz programme, with Soyuz 1 in 1967 (sole crew-member killed by parachute failure) and Soyuz 11 in 1971 (three crew killed by depressurization during reentry).
The first uncrewed automated docking in the history of spaceflight was achieved between 7K-OK spacecraft Kosmos 186 and Kosmos 188 in 1967. Additionally firsts include the first docking between two crewed spacecraft (Soyuz 4 and Soyuz 5), the longest crewed flight involving only one spacecraft (the 18-day flight of Soyuz 9 in 1970), and the first successful transfer of crew to the first space station in the history of space flight (Soyuz 11 and Salyut 1 in 1971).
I decided after making the Zond spacecraft, why not make the Soyuz itself? This has got to be the most detailed model I have created yet, based on way too many reference photos and diagrams. Let me show you its features:
It comes with a vizzy auto-launch system. Simply use action group 3 to launch into a roughly 110km orbit. The launch escape system is activated with group 1, and automatically deploys the grid fins and controls the craft from abort to landing.
The Soyuz has a crap-load of antennae and solar arrays that automatically deploy on launch. If you decide to launch manually (not recommended, this makes abort kinda nasty), use group 9 for antennae and solar arrays.
Before landing, hit 4 to arm the automatic landing sequence, which deploys parachutes at 2000m and 1000m AGL, as well as fire the landing motors right before touchdown. If ou are on mobile, you'll have to select the command pod in the editor and manually assign it to group 4 so that the button is visible.
Use slider 2 to rotate the periscope, which has a camera hidden in it.
Use group 8 and slider 1 to operate the hatch on the orbital module
Enjoy!
Also, head to here for the passive version, if you want to replicate the Soyuz 4 and 5 docking.
