I haven't seen many helicopters on SR2 yet so I figured I'd put something together. This helicopter has a similar design to the Osprey in that its propellers can be rotated to allow for VTOL and for forward movement. I also put 2 jet engines on the rear that can be activated for additional maneuverability (the "jet enginges" are just stacks of ion engines so they don't add much speed. The wings with propellers are also capable of being pushed out for extra stability. Finally, the tail is attached through a hinge rotator, which allows for much better pitch control.
Controls:
AG1:Activate rotators attached to propellers
AG2:Activate piston attached to wings
AG3:Activates secondary/ion engines
Slider 1 up +AG1:Rotates propellers for forward movement
Slider 1 up +AG2: Pushes wings out
Slider 2 up = turns propellers on
Thrust + AG3: Turns engines on/produce thrust
Recommended Takeoff Directions:
1: Push Slider 1 all the way up
2: Push Slider 2 up and activate AG1 as soon as you are in the air to convert to forward movement
3. You can activate AG2 to push wings out for added stability if desired
4. You can activate AG3 + thrust if you want other engines turned on
I will probably come out with improved versions of this down the road. Tips/feedback appreciated.
