China Dongfeng 1 missile

The Dongfeng-1 ballistic missile is a type 1 land-based short-range ballistic missile equipped by the People's Liberation Army Rocket Army (formerly the Second Artillery) and a type 1 liquid fuel ballistic missile.

The Dongfeng-1 ballistic missile is modeled after the Soviet P / R-2 missile, and its prototype is the V-2 rocket developed by Nazi Germany during World War II.

The Dongfeng-1 ballistic missile began imitation in April 1958, and was successfully tested on November 5, 1960. The missile has not been deployed in actual combat.
