The Reliance Avionics E-1 Watchdog is a medium range, Airbourne Early Warning and Controls aircraft. Designed for all-weather, day/night reconnaissance missions abroad, it boasts a range of 1,750km using all 4 of its R.A. TF-22JFs with a service ceiling of 8km minimum. Thanks to its large rotodome and various other radars, the E-1 can identify crafts from up to 125nm (231km) away allowing the E-1 to "see" well beyond visual range. The E-1 Watchdog is also the first of my crafts to be capable of both aerial and ground refueling allowing it to have longer flight time if needed.
Notes for the operation of Reliance Avionics E-1 Watchdog:
-Upon reaching the service ceiling, set trim to 20% and flaps to -20-23%. Locking the pitch at 3° may help with altitude control.
-Using slow motion while the landing gear is down and the craft is grounded will cause it to float. The nose will pitch down immediately when normal time is resumed and the craft will be destroyed/disconnect
-As fuel runs lower and lower, the E-1 has a tendency to reach ~12,000m. If you want to return to lower altitudes you can adjust locked pitch, flaps, and trim.
- To extend range, set flaps to 50 and turn off Engine group 2. This will decrease the maximum altitude to ~5,000m
Landing
-The E-1 requires an approximate speed of ~100m/s, any speed below that could result in a crash.
