This craft uses my L-4 as a sort of high altitude launch platform. The platform (which I designed a few days ago) ascends to about 10,000 meters before releasing the rocket itself and activateing its parachutes. There are a few advantages of this kind of launch. 1. The platform itself is completely reusable. In my tests it only used up about 16% of its total fuel and keep in mind this is all completly vanilla. 2. The rocket doesnt have to carry near as much fuel as it would have to in a conventional launch. 3. It looks cool.

That being said i must say i am surprised by the amount of attention my L-4 experimental hovering platform got. 34 downloads! Thats incredible!

Would you mind if I use this idea in a new craft? I’m thinking of making a cargo plane, witch will drop a small launch pad and an automatically launching missile. I will be sure to give you credit :)
