If you have a hollow cylindrical object and make it spin on the Y axis, it will seem to generate artificial gravity. This is because as an object goes around in a circle, it will go across a straight line, but it is constantly changing as if it is traveling on a slope that smoothly curves infinitely; there is no inward or outward force. Here’s a visual example:
But hold on, why does it seem like you go on a curved trajectory when you jump on a centrifuge? Well, you go on a straight line that will impact a part of the floor, and because of the coriolis effect, you will land in a different place than you’d expect depending on which way you run and jump
