Can I get a bit of clarification, I have ran it 20x times starting at soi, ending with degrading orbits to shallow hits, if you mean A.G.2 not 4, that helps some but as automation goes I don’t have any past the ship orientation in orbit. To say SOI, that’s what moons are, so considering that it’s got 723m/s ∆v im pretty sure you captured, or in a degrading orbit, not sphere of influence.
I’d like to add that I love this concept, I want to work more than any craft ever if my repeated attempts to land a bird has any say so. Not sure what the recommended deployment speed is for the drouge choutes but I think had they opened then I had a shot, but they have great trouble making it that far, 1380m/s was the slowest I got. I see some pretty high rocket capacity but the thrust is low and I don’t think I am using them in the way you intended. Also is photograph 5/12 above looking down? I love this idea, I hope I can learn to land it, thanks for any attention you give my questions.
