If developed to reach its theorized potential, the Variable Specific Impulse Magnetoplasma engine will revolutionize interplanetary travel as we know it, shortening the travel time to Mars to just over a month. This is my take on the application of the VASIMR engine. It sports four ion engines edited to act similar to a VASIMR engine (still working on the engines; need to calculate the specific impulse because the performance analyzer doesnt say for ion engines), lots of solar panels, extendable docking booms (slider 1), and detatchable habitation modules (stage 2), just in case something goes wrong during your trip. It already has an interstage attatched to it, so you can slap it on one of your rockets.
Note: this is just the transportation. It doesn't come with any bases, or even a lander. However, if you would like a lander, I can make one.
