Auto Credit Based on PeriodicAerospace's Trojan
SoniX is an experimental Hypersonic vehicle designed to demonstrate control in the upper atmosphere at speed of Mach 20+.
Designed to be lightweight so that it can demonstrate endurance at such high speeds, temperature, and drag. Engineered to be recoverable but NOT reused.
Flight Configuration Recommendations:
1. During Reentry, make sure to have the heading locked on prograde otherwise, the vehicle will spin out, lose control, and disintegrate.
Make sure RCS is on
Make sure to have parachutes armed after the vehicle has passed through peak heating.
The launch vehicle is a modified version of the LGM-56 Trojan ICBM.
