AQ-14 Savage Lynx

The AQ-14 Savage Lynx is an advanced unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed primarily for Close Air Support (CAS) and attack missions. It is also equipped to perform electronic warfare operations. The UAV features a stealthy design, significantly reducing its infrared and radar signatures to enhance survivability in contested environments. Additionally, it includes radar jamming capabilities, making it a versatile asset in modern warfare scenarios.

ARMAMENT

The AQ-14 "Savage Lynx" is equipped with a versatile armament package designed to handle a variety of combat scenarios:
- 2 AIM-9X missiles for self-defense, highly maneuverable and effective against close targets.
- 2 AGM-70 missiles for precision strikes against ground targets.
- 4 JDAM bombs (Joint Direct Attack Munitions) for guided bombing missions, allowing for accurate strikes against surface targets.
- 2 GBU-10 bombs (Guided Bomb Units) for precision bombing against fortified and unfortified targets.

FEATURES

• Internal weapon bay Capable of carrying multiple weapons reducing drag and radar signature.
• AN/ALQ-131 Electronic Countermeasure Pod designed to protect aircraft from radar-guided threats, it is capable of jamming enemy radar systems, decoying enemy missiles and maintaining low observability even when carrying weapons on external pylons.
• Electro-Optical Targeting System (EOTS) Provides clear, detailed visuals for identifying and tracking targets, both day and night and enables accurate targeting for laser-guided munitions such as the GBU-10, along other capabilities.

OPERATION

• AG 1: Engines
• AG 2: Flaps 3 positions, each click moves the flaps one position
• AG 3: Launch AIM-9X (External)
• AG 4: Launch AGM-70 (Internal)
• AG 5: Drop GBU-10 (Internal)
• AG 6: Drop JDAM (External)
• AG 7: Activate camera target tracking First, select a target, then activate AG 7 and choose either TV or IR cam. Use Slider 3 for zoom.
• AG 8: Landing Gear
• AG 9: Brakes Activates both airbrakes and wheel brakes
• AG 10: Navigation Lights
