Project Solar Liner.1413 (Prototype [PRJ-1413-D(I)] ) is the new constructed high speed drone, updated from the concept of PSL-1818.
This brand new type has an ability of reaching maximum 2704m/s, which is a huge advance from the previous one, which can only perform at a speed of 330m/s in her best status. Meanwhile, PSL-1413 is able to maintain controllable at a speed of 1325m/s, which means the controller can pilot it in an extra high speed not imagined by any GSCs ever before.
To maintain control of this new born but tricky drone, controllers should be aware of these tips right below:
1. Due to technical issues, the pitch control of PSL-1413 has been inverted, which means pilots should try their best to adapt the control settings, rather than fighting against it.
2. PSL-1413 is equipped with both landing gear and landing sections for adaptation to different terrains. Remember to retract both of them when airborne. Meanwhile, controllers should be aware that gear would be retracted into the interior of the landing sections, so please retract/deploy the gear in the first place.
3. Careful controllers may have recognized that there is a stabilizer at the front of the aircraft to maintain stable when the vehicle reaches high speed. Usually deployed at a speed of 400m/s, the stabilizer should not be deployed on the runway when taking off via the terrestrial engine.
4. Besides maintaining stabilization, the stabilizer can also be used when vertical take off is required which would also work beneath water,. However, this process needs extra smoothness and good control of both the throttle and the control surface, or else controllers may find themselves ended up in a spin.
5. Controller should know that the terrestrial engine would only work in it's maximum when under 8000m. Please maintain your altitude below 8000m or else you may encounter a control failure, as the craft would continuously bump between the edge of the atmosphere and the cosmos. If such control failure happens, please invert your craft at once, turn off the terrestrial engine, and let the stabilizer help you smoothly decending back to your proper altitude. Your throttle should be ranging from 20% to a maximum of 50% and the craft should be maintaining horizontal stability, or else controllers may find themselves in a spin, same as what would happen in a failed vertical take off.
The GSC Space Exploration Agency wishes all controller a smooth and safe flight! Enjoy!
