I did this in career mode to achieve some speed records!
The current amount of fuel is enough to fly for a long time, but you can add more if you want, just be careful with the mass lift!

An important warning, I noticed a loss of stability when the fuel is below 10%, but you must be strong in the controls to not fall! I believe this is due to displacement of weight.
