In the first mission of project Ares, the fusion-powered Knight-1 Heavy Launcher second stage flew from Droo to Cylero in 27 days. The rocket then flew into a 500-600 kilometer orbit around Cylero, capturing surface data. It then made a retrograde burn and entered Cylero's atmosphere, measuring data up to the moment when it impacted the surface. This concluded the first Ares mission.
