SSTO spaceplane designed for 1:5 solar systems.
An aircraft developed in the 1960s, the FDL-5 (USAF Flight Dynamics Laboratory) was a concept design to test and explore various hypersonic flight principles. The FDL-5 would become one of three concepts, the FDL-5, FDL-6, and FDL-7. This configuration consisted of a variable geometry wing system integrated into a lifting body. At subsonic speeds, the wings would deploy to increase lift, but at supersonic and hypersonic speeds, retract to minimize drag and improve L/D performance. Not only would the deployable wings provide subsonic performance gains, but they would also allow for a level of stability that would otherwise be not achievable for a lifting body designed for hypersonic flight.
This variation brandishes a classic NASA livery and weighs in at 1554 tons.
AGs are labeled, slider 1 controls the swing wings, and slider 2 operates the drag flaps.

Do you have a discord? I am both willing to share a model I am not sure you have comes accross. I also would like to be able to ask you Q’s even if your not into my interesting novel approach for types of planes your most into. While I will share my data with you with no strings attached, maybe a shoutout, lol. I wasn't really wanting anyone else to beat me to build (my debt to you is in the form of Atomic Rockets webpage, seriously I don't even know how much I would have to send you to equal the novel knowledge you gave me with that single link, I went from interested to informed and it is still a rabbit hole I never get to the end of!)
Let me know if this appeals to you. Also if you use a translator to speak English let me know. I can stop most of the slang that wouldn't translate well. I don't mind any language you may speak. I just want smooth communication and I often find out late into dialogue and it does matter to me, especially if your going threw the trouble of speaking my native language. Take care. -

@FelixFan1 Please post your requests here and I will consider them. I'm always looking for new and novel super/hypersonic designs.

Indeed but I always felt the need to say nothing about my wants, because I fear that making requests will put stress on the builders. -

I love it! It is badass! I ran up to Mach 5.24 @ 17,748 M before it totally disintegrated! Excellent craft!

@FelixFan1 Really? That's awesome. I'm working on a Skunk Works Aurora delta wing spaceplane right now.
