Things that you need to know:
• The primary way in controlling this jet is to use the navsphere. You can also use other controls like the flaps (Slider 1).
• Mach 3 cruising is still achievable but very difficult to reach and maintain because of the new design. For cruising at Mach 3 set throttle to max and keep the pitch from 9° to 3° depending on the situation. By cruising at Mach 3 you will be very likely to ascend to higher altitudes and that means that the craft is not manouverable at very high altitudes so I recommend a descent to around 10,000m before moving the jet around. Because cruising at Mach 3 is now hard and impractical, you can cruise at lower throttles which saves fuel like at 85% throttle with afterburner and with this you can cruise at about Mach 2.2 or if you want to supercruise(travelling above the speed of sound without afterburners), then set throttle to 80% to cruise at around Mach 1.8 to Mach 2. At these two cruising situations, please select a pitch from 6° to 3° to keep the speed and altitude up.
• This evolution should have better manouverability (im not sure) due to the larger wings and improved surface controls. The auto pilot PID is still one of the things I struggle so much because I don't know how it works so please tune it if you know how.
Operation:
After loading into the runway, activate the engines and include the STG 1 activation. Lock the current heading and open the navshpere. Set the pitch to 9° and keep the heading on where the nose is pointing at. When ready, at a decent rate, increase the throttle to 85% - 100%(what you prefer) and wait until the jet has taken off. Once airborne, retract landing gears, select desired throttle and wait until clear of terrain. Once clear, select your heading and wait until desired altitude is reached. Once in altitude, set the pitch from 6° - 3° for cruising. You are also free to adjust the pitch when you want to ascend, descend, angle of attack or adjust the speed of the jet. You can then now choose where will you go or what will you do and that is everything that is needed for operating this aircraft. I hope you enjoy flying this simple creation and thank you.
Autopilot PID is not that good and I'm lazy to tune it. Still need to learn how it works.
